Com. Elias Halvert
- Commander Halvert is one of the three commanders of the "Rose Daggers", a widely known mercenary group.
- He didn't began his career at the very bottom, but was one of the founders, together with his brother.
- He formed and took control over the east wing of their company and build a headquarter in "Wild Fort", which symbolizes the eastern border of civilization. (The elven-lands not counted)
- He is known as a just and smart leader among his men. He also cares for his people.
- Nobles and Officials always try to be on his good side. (Because, you never know when you may need a bunch of affordable mercenaries.) So he is well connected even beyond the city's borders.
- His rivals speculate that if he calls in all his favors, he alone could be able to assemble a small army of more then 5000 men, not counting the other branches of his guild
- The only family he has is his daughter 'Syrene'. He was never married though, her mother was a servant of his who dyed due to a sickness. But this is a well capt secret not even Serene knows.
- In contrast to the general way of thinking and the churches teaching, Halvert does not despise the "Non-Humans", but encounter them with a good bit of respect. But not in a friendly way, but that of a worthy oponent.

- The commander's beloved and spoiled daughter.
- She is careless in her behavior, enjoys manipulating people and never hesitates to abuse her father's authority in her favor.
- Her beautiful looks attract a lot of attention from sons of wealthy merchants, honored knights and likewise spoiled nobles - and Syrene happily enjoys watching them competing against each other for her favor.
- She doesn't have a greater goal in her live, neither is she looking for one.
- Most of the time she's just fooling around out of boredom, for example by flirting with inexperienced squires or young mercenaries in her fathers guild, for the sole purpose of complaining to her father afterwards about the naughty looks his men throw at her. This way she soured more then one marriage already.

- Ivac is a dedicated servant and housekeeper of the Halvert family.
- The 48 old man is serving Elias Halvert since he was 16.
- Aside from his duties of keeping everything in order and attending to his masters daily needs, he is tasked in keeping a close eye on Syrene, The commanders daughter. Since she's such a troublemaker, her father wants to have another point of view whenever she storms his office and complains about someone being rude to her.
- Ivac enjoys the trust and appreciation of the Halvert family and enjoys his position as housekeeper. Working for such a well known Family brings him a load of respect as well, which he wouldn't be able to get as a regular citizen.
