Man, the second chapter went really smooth. I slept just 3 hours last night, because i couldn't stop writing. Here you go, enjoy the read:
Also, i will add a few Questions regarding the future of the story. You can find them in the right sidebar.
Regarding the Questions:
1) -The first one is an Idea that i got. I couldn't decide, so i'll leave it up to you:
Should the MC get some kind of helper (A help feature in the menus/ some kind of "dungeon specialist"that moves in/ a magic fairy that follows him around ... )? This would help him to get started introduce advanced functions of "dungeoneering" earlier, probably even try to boss him around. It would also give him a friendly face to talk to.
Or should the MC go through the struggle of figuring everything out by himself? Make errors and learn from them, making the rewards for hard work sweeter. This would probably make progression in the story slower (if that is a problem).
2) - There is the simple Issue of Naming the Dungeon. There are several Names that were proposed to me and i included them in the second chapter. Following the story, the MC will take one of them as his own, because he does not have, or does not remember his Name
1. Shornag - The name, he got from the lizard man. Its meaning is yet to be revealed ;)
2. Tamani -
3. Branok -
4. Walkir - All tree were the names of the soldiers, that fell in his dungeon, he found their Names on the Tags of their equipment.
5. Kalifos - On the outside wall of the tower, there is a signboard, that tells when the tower was build and by whom. Kalifos was the reigning land lord at that time.
6- Garlok - The builder, that constructed the Tower.
The Name will also be stated in the Dungeon Info-screen. For example: "Dungeon Name - Walkier dungeon". It will also be presented to anyone, that appraises it in the future, so chose wisely ;)
3) - How do you want the MC to react on the Lizard-Man tribe?
a - He sees an opportunity for cooperation and maybe friendship
b - He finds them suspicious, and stays passive, until he can make a clearer decision.
c - He sees them as primitive beasts
I welcome you to take part in the adventures of a newly born dungeon. Watch him, as he struggles for survival and forms friendships and alliances. Help me make decisions for his future, his personality, or the world itself. Share your impression and ideas, and they may find its way into the story.
